For the last two days, I could play co op with someone in the same house as me for a few hours at a time. However just now I was kicked from their session and can't connect to the Far Cry 5 servers anymore; and am unable to be invited or invite to Co-op. How do I fix this?

Far Cry 5. My husband and I are trying to co-op on the same router. We have played many games together before (L4D2, Overwatch, Vermintide) and have decent PCs so this is not the issue. The errors we keep getting when trying to join each other are Snowshoe and Bookworm with varying numbers. I think Trapper showed up once.

I take it your in Alberta Canada? if that's the case my guess would be it selects the closest server in relation to your location (or just your ping results) and that particular server is having issues. best bet would be to try again soon and hopefully its operational soon Grammar-Bot-Elite • 3 yr. ago

Not sure if Arcade is using peer to peer or client server connections but it sounds like a NAT issue if only one of you can connect at a time. I would contact Ubi support.
Usefully, Far Cry 5 keeps players together, teleporting one closer to the other if someone wanders too far away. Co-op is restricted to players from your friends list, with no random matchmaking.
